Howdy,
beat@ want some tester for SeaMonkey 2.0
here a full quota:
A few days ago SeaMonkey 2.0 has been released. To install SeaMonkey 2.0
a modified bsd.gecko.mk is needed. Therefore we are not able to commit
it to the ports tree until the tree is unfreezed. So now we are looking
for tester/reviewer of the SeaMonkey 2.0 port. The port is available in our SVN repository:
# svn co
http://trillian.chruetertee.ch/svn/freebsd-gecko/branches/experimental/www/seamonkey-develThe modified bsd.gecko.mk could be downloaded here:

Hello!
I have installed SeaMonkey 2.0 on my 9-CURRENT on Dell Latitude D530 and since then it works seamlessly.
- Installation was seamless.
- Mailbox and mail settings were imported from Thunderbird with all the archived mails.
- Only bookmarks were not imported from Firefox 3.5.5
- Browsing seems faster than with Firefox 3.5.5 (opinion, not measurement)
All functions are OK there was not any crash or freeze.
Thanks for the good work.
I don’t know if it is the right place for feedback so if not then sorry.
Regards,

Works like a charm, except that the drag+drop of URLs doesn’t function anymore. If you have an idea, drop me an email!

Hey!
Installed on 8 release without any problems or effort. Thunderbird settings and mail was also imported successfully.
It feels fast and reliable and seems to be a good alternative to firefox and thunderbird.
Thank you!
Regards,
Erik
