We’re happy to announce that following was updated:

- Update py-qt4 to py-qt4.5.4
- Update qscintilla-2* to 2.4
- Update py-sip to 4.8.2
- Update py-kde to 1.16.3
- Update py-qt to 1.18.1
- Update Qt4 to 4.5.2
- Update KDE to KDE-4.3.0

and is now available in the FreeBSD ports tree. So what’s new in KDE:

Well, i’d like to say many many thx to my great Team here,
how I already said, This was for a while my latest KDE
update. I step down now for a while to make some other
jobs. I which all KDE FreeBSD Team member’s a lot fun.

    Oha! Das ging ja wieder fix. Darf ich an dieser Stelle darauf hinweisen, daß ein Meta-Paket (wie in den 7er-Branches) initiale Desktop-Installationen ungemein erleichtert? Laut grep(1) und ‘ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-8-stable/INDEX’ fiel das wohl unter den Tisch; so als kleine Anregung.

    Ich hab die Software auf betreffender Kiste mit gesetztem PACKAGESITE und aus ftp-INDEX(lokale Kopie) gegrepten string installiert. Aber haste recht, da war ja noch was… :)

    Glad to say that 4.3 was stable all day, but at the end of the day memory usage climbed steadily. Using 1.5 GB of 2 GB total memory.
