So, KDE 4.1 is now officially out and we have already committed
it to area51. Currently, our plan is to wait for Qt 4.4.1 release.
We hope that it will fix some runtime problems that we have with
some Qt4 dependencies. We hope not to run into too many problems
with both updates, so that we can put KDE4 in the ports tree in
the middle of August. If you want to test KDE 4.1, checkout the
notes on our wiki page. Feedback of course welcome!

Nice work, Martin. I have a question: before port installing KDE 4.1, do I need to deinstall KDE 3 first? Thanks.

  3. Martin Says:

No kde3 and kde4 can co exist.
